The 2009 bike that was very rough when purchased was missing the top bracket for retaining the front brake hose. I purchased a bracket locally (Australia) but am I am unsure just how it should be fixed to the triple tree clamp or what a round hole in it is for. Refer to photo. Your help will be greatly appre...

Its maybe a a copy of a GYTR tailpipe. I was going to try and repack it but when i pulled it apart it was impossible with out cutting a weld i think. Also the porferated inner pipe is only 70% the length of the muffler. Think i will take it to a muffler shop and see what he reckons. -- Edited by Cubber on Friday 2...

I would also like to know how many kilometers these bikes can do before they start to see serious p...
It was pointed out to me that my forks appear to have been dropped through the yolks leaving about 2.5-3 cm of the top of the fork tubes exposed. I just ordered the Moose Racing standard seat cover. Right on the package it says TTR250. But when I pulled it out and quickly threw it over the seat, it didn't seem like it was the right cut. I know they require some stretching, but there is a ton of material that gathers in the bend of the seat. Also, all t...

Hi there. Wonder if someone can help me. The TTR has failed its MOT test on suspension bearing play. I've got as far as stripping out the swing arm, rear shock etc. However the collar, with the large hex head holding the relay arm to the frame seems reluctant to move (there's a welded lug to hold the hex in o...
There are a lot of urban myths and quite a bit of folklore about bearings and the best make, type and quality. I received the email copied below today and, unless I have got hold of the wrong end of the stick, the company seems to produce virtually every make and type of bearing known to man. Is this eviden...
