Still some places available on Austin Vince's mountain navigation event. www.austinvince.com/navigation-events Can't recommend this enough. Fabulous event, great surroundings, and as of the last two events, no gits! The price seems a bit high 'till you see the hotel and the food available,...

I had to get a stand for the TTR as my paddock stand wasn't that handy for it. I bought a kick stand from ghost Mc's for £28. I knew it wouldn't fit underneath so I made a couple of pads to go under the wheels from ply and 2x1. It works a treat even with my shot back. All in all a good, well made piece of kit.
i just get started to rebuild my '98 ttr. it stayed outside for a year so took water in carburetor and than into the cylinder from bent of the intake valves. cleaned all parts but I need some carb parts, intake valves ,1mm over piston and gaskets etc. there are no any parts in turkei so i want to buy all these...
This is my first post, so go easy on me if I do something wrong. I have a 1999 TTR250 that I have yet to see run correctly. When my dad bought it, the throttle assembly was stuck, carb was completely gunked up, brakes were shot, wouldn't get gas through to the carb, and every part that was possible to rust, w...
Both the original footrests on my recently purchased 1998 OE were very worn, twisted and I was finding them quite small. I fitted these new replacements today and they feel and look very nice indeed.......purchased from Totally TTRs of course and manufactured in stainless steel.....
I've had my new 2005 UK TTR for about two weeks now and started it up for the first time this morning!...I passed the MOD 2 test for my license yesterday and now have a full license. I couldn't bear to start it up before now as I couldn't help myself from jumping on it and setting off for the hills....
Im giving up the laning and TTR as I simply just dont have time at the moment. Selling my virtually new RA7000 plus a specific handlebar mount which I purchased from the mount guys in the states. In fine working order but as seems common with a lot of these it doesnt seem to hold its charge but does work fine...
Does anyone happen to know what the output is from the generator (blue tank model if it makes any difference)? Got the wife a heated jacket for Xmas and wondered if the TTR could power it so she can commute on it instead if her BMW which I have in many pieces at present! It pulls 77W apparently. Simon
Been a while since I was on here, lack of time/inclination/mobility has left the wee TTR in the project garage for the best part of the last 2 years but looks like it may see the road next year :) It has now moved to the workshop. Been checking it over, just replaced the bottom shock bearing(not as bad as so...
Hi, There are many kinds of FMF PowerCore 4 exhaust systems, and I am confused as to which one would be the best fit for my 1996 TTR 250. It would be great if you could provide me with an exact reference number or part number. The prices range from $150 to $250 but they all look the same to me! Thank you for your...
I've just made the transition from sport bikes to this little gem of a dual purpose bike. I did have a TT250 back in the 80's, so it was an easy choice to get a TTR250. It's a 2006 model and road registered, so I can ride to the forest parks. I still have a lot to learn about riding off road, but I'm enjoying it...
hi,wondering what people think of the motad pipe for the ttr..have just bought one and seems to me like the power has shifted slightly my old pipe,a loud crd absolute, would lift the front wheel if the throttle is snapped open at a walking pace, all be it with a bit of yanking on the bars, now it won't but w...
I am having a tidy up in the workshop and came across this carb that I had forgotten about. It came with a load of other spare parts and I was told that it had been fitted to a TTR250. It has a modified TTR cable holder fitted so I am assuming that is correct. See pics below. It has been lying idle for a few years s...
I couldn't bear to start it up before now as I couldn't help myself from jumping on it and setting off for the hills....
