Hi from NZ: the land of the long white cloud

I've just made the transition from sport bikes to this little gem of a dual purpose bike. I did have a TT250 back in the 80's, so it was an easy choice to get a TTR250.

It's a 2006 model and road registered, so I can ride to the forest parks. I still have a lot to learn about riding off road, but I'm enjoying it so far.

I just want to say a big thank you for this site and the contributors, as I have found it very useful and informative.

I've attached a picture of my bike, but it's nothing special. Stock standard TTR250 with DOT tyres. What is there to improve?

Cheers, Darren

Welcome Fosty!

I hope you enjoy your new TTR. I always wanted to go to New Zealand and hunt Red Stag (back when I had knees that would be able to make the hunt). It is good to have you here. LOVE the picture.

Enjoy!
