I've just made the transition from sport bikes to this little gem of a dual purpose bike. I did have a TT250 back in the 80's, so it was an easy choice to get a TTR250. It's a 2006 model and road registered, so I can ride to the forest parks. I still have a lot to learn about riding off road, but I'm enjoying it...

as the title suggests, im interested in knowing what size tubes people carry if they are going for an adventure. i have a 19 inch tube, so it can stretch into the front, or sqeeze into the rear in an emergency. obviously i wouldnt keep it in there I would change it when i could. what do you guys do?

We got a little snow here in New York! There is probably 10 inches on the ground. It was fun but difficult to maneuver the bike. I had a lot of fun though! Here are some pics. The bike is not being held up with the kickstand in this picture. The snow is high enough to keep it up.
