Taking advantage of KLR250 parts...

A fellow locally, has a 1998 KLR250 that he's completely parting out. It's street legal. As I'm planning on making mine street legal, I'm wondering what I could get from this machine. I am getting the Tusk DS kit, but it doesn't include the speedo and front brake switch. So I'll definitely be grabbing those from the klr250. What else would be worth grabbing? Maybe the tires if they're in good shape? Though, I think the klr has a 17" rear wheel. How about the luggage rack? Would the front forks with brakes and wheel be worth grabbing? I'm sure it's not any better than the TTR front end, but I'm guessing that having a spare front end to work with is always good. Any thing else u guys can think of? I think I can get all of this stuff extremely cheap. I may even consider getting the whole bike if the price is right. Well, as long as it doesn't need a head, which it probably does cause that's one of their well known issues.
