Good move......they've always been an unsightly & awkward item to fit on a bike and also easily stolen. They were dispensed with here in Greece a couple of years ago....you now just pay online, get an electronic receipt and (where in-car system available) the Police can check from the registration number as to whether the bike is taxed or not.....
