Hi All,


As Brian (The TTR Oracle) is well aware, I got myself a 2004 TTR250 lately, well I say a TTR, what I actually purchased was an engine in a frame and an awful lot of parts!

 

Anyway's, I digress, my question is this;

 

When refitting the linkages and the swingarm, what is the easiest/correct order to do it in?

 

Obviously, I am in a bit of a rare situation as I wasn't the one who dismantled the bike!

My personal view is that the linkage and swing arm bearings and seals both need to be fitted on the bench and then the linkage arm (see here) fitted to the frame first followed by fitting the swing arm (see here ).
