Hey, Bit of info, today I set my sag height for my new TTR and everything went well, bike felt a lot better etc. This evening I took it for a quick burn over a few bumpy bits and the rear suspension seema to have bottomed out and is now stuck in that position. I have tried releasing pressure off the rear wheel a...
Does anybody know if a Raid loom has heavier gauge wire to the headlight than an OE? I believe the Raid bulb is 55/60W, is this correct? Also, what power are the Aus spec headlights with those big glass lenses?

Hi, I bought this last week from an advert on the forum here. I didn't know what to expect but was pleasantly surprised when I collected it as it seems pretty good really and to my untrained eye, quite original? All the bits and pieces are there, the tank and seat are in good condition and there are lots of...
Here's a nice, easy and cheap mod for your TTR. Having replaced several head lamp bulbs and being generally underwhelmed by its brightness anyway, I decided to fit some extra lights. I didn't want massive spot lights as don't generally need super night vision, but do commute and aware that the standa...
Just picked up a 1993 open enduro in quite good condition. Very happy with it. Looking forward to getting off the beaten track with it.....and falling off a bit.

So I eventually got around to having my first ever proper go at riding the TTR off road and have say I loved it. I recently found out about Uncle Eddie's Enduro track and wasted little time in getting down there to give it a go. The location was perfect for me and as it was fairly quiet I was able to explore bot...
Hi, I bought a 2005 blue TTR250 just before Christmas, my first 'off Roader' after nearly 44 years of riding Road Bikes. I'm looking to ride some Green Lanes soon. Ian
I have read a thread or two on VIN numbers on here and elsewhere on the Net, but not sure what to make of my VIN number. According to everything i have seen the 10th digit is the year of manufacture and until 2000 it was represented by a letter - in this case apparantly "Y". From 2001 and up the year is represen...

Hi everyone, new to TTRs and this forum. I was doing some reading on the infamous sprag clutch issues common to TTRs. I've noticed mine makes a clunk when stopping and just wanted a second opinion from someone other owners about whether this sound is normal (just the engine coming to a stop) or somethin...
