Is this sound my Sprag clutch failing or is it normal? (New TTR owner)

Hi everyone, new to TTRs and this forum. I was doing some reading on the infamous sprag clutch issues common to TTRs. I've noticed mine makes a clunk when stopping and just wanted a second opinion from someone other owners about whether this sound is normal (just the engine coming to a stop) or something much more sinister before I go pulling her apart. 

 

The sound doesn't occur on every stop and often varies in how loudness. Please watch the video below to listen to it. (Sound doesnt occur on first shutdown).

Will be interesting to hear the reply's mine all looks 100% does sound like yours at times but in my case I'm not concerned as yet 

 

Something to stop the clunk short term if it's a problem is load the engine up a bit while  shutting off by letting the clutch out a bit with the bike in gear if done well there is no clunk

Sounds perfectly OK to me!  (Famous last words biggrin)

When the clunk turns to a bang that makes a mechanically-minded owner wince then its time for a new sprag!

Awesome news! Thanks gents. I saw heaps of people saying it sounded like a bang but no videos on what that bang actually sounded like so thought it best to double check.

I've haven't heard a bad one as yet.  I think good oil is the key to longevity of the sprag
