Thanks Brian ,having a go at riding off road has been a bit mental after fixing the bike only to crash it (alot) in the dirt having never even sat on a ttr style bike but I've enjoyed this bike more than my sv .Even out on the road over winter it's a great bike for mini adventures and it's really nice to be on a lighter bike for a change with a carb.

Just simple stuff, strip and clean the carb , service, tidy the electrics usual rot,new hand guards, heel protectors, clean out the tank, etc so far no problems apart from breaking things when I drop it alot off road and sorting the forks.

That's not to bad then! What's it like for trails up your way? Are there plenty of places to ride?

Only had the Borg tyres on for the first few weeks riding around a field near Linwood felt like I was killing the bike with my crap off road skills so fitted trailwings which are great for the road but rubbish off road .Would be good to find some green lane type of trails been told continental do tyres which would be more suited for road and dirt will need to save my pennies.

Welcome to the forum Chris and thanks for the orders. Always nice to see a tidy OE.

I run Pirelli MT43 on the back and Michelin Comp 6 on the front

Not a problem for road work and epic on the Rocky Devon lanes.

Steve

Welcome to the TTR clan, Chris.

That's a nice looking bike you have there. Well done.
