2003 Yamaha TT250R

MOT’d till 8th April 2019

Mileage: 4,750 (can’t be verified)

Price: £1,950 o.n.o. (Delivery possible)

Bought this bike a year and a half ago and did the following mod's to it.

Engine:

  • Modified standard exhaust muffler with 34mm end pipe
  • Shorty header pipe
  • NGK Iridium spark plug
  • New oil, filter & gaskets
  • New front sprocket gearbox oil seal
  • (Airbox and snorkel remain as standard)

Chassis:

  • New 13/48 sprockets
  • New DID chain
  • New speedo drive & 3 point tab washers
  • Forks overhauled, cleaned out & filled with 5W oil
  • Fork damping calibrated @ 2.5 psi (top) & standard 15 clicks out (lower)
  • New fork gaitors
  • New axle clamp black plastic dome nut caps
  • CONTOUR tapered 28.5mm handlebars with Apico clamps
  • 12mm (under clamp) bar riser spacers
  • New rear brake pads
  • New Blue Polisport hand guards
  • New Mitas C18 Rear & C19 front nobblies with slime filled tubes
  • New Blue anodized adjustable clutch and brake levers
  • Heated grips with 5 adjustable temperatures
  • 12v SatNav / phone charger socket
  • LED headlight bulb

Spares

  • Brand new K&N air filter
  • Standard exhaust header pipe
  • 44 tooth rear sprocket, 14 tooth front + chain & split link (all in good condition)
  • Standard alloy front brake and clutch levers + white Acerbis hand guards
  • Pair of used but good condition fork gaitors
  • Spare standard 35W headlight bulb + another brand new LED headlight bulb
  • Brand new sintered front brake pads in unopened packaging

Starts and runs perfectly. The 13/48 sprocket gearing makes a lot of difference especially when pulling through mud, hills and small turns. The shorty header pipe and modified exhaust muffler internals increase torque as well as sounding better. There's a light clunk when the engine's turned off but it's early days yet and way too soon to be thinking about changing the sprag clutch. All in all, a ready to go thumper with all the toys.
