Open to Ideas, Need Some Advice
(Preview)
So I figured this would be the best place to post this thread, but I am wanting to make some modifications to my 1994 TTR250 Open Enduro (pictures to follow) and want to bounce the ideas off of people. I know there are threads that address some of these issues, but I want ideas from people that will help me...

There is no fool like an old fool!
(Preview)
I have been trying to put some running in miles on my latest refurb and this has been helped by the lovely weather here in SW of the UK However, things started to go pear shaped on the way home from a ride and the TTR started misfiring and cutting out at the most inconvenient places. It got me really worried...

Plating a TTR250 (USA)
(Preview)
I am in the process of attempting to make my 2001 TTR street legal. Being a novice when it comes to electronics I thought I would ask for your help. I bought a hydraulic brake switch (for the rear brake). The original taillight has 3 wires blue, black, and yellow. The tusk wiring diagram was not much help....

Turning a BMW 1150 gs in to a rallye
(Preview)
This is the start stripping and prepping, I don't know if any of you guys have worked on a big bike like a BMW, it's not as complicated as it looks just remember to take photos as you go, that way if you forget how it came apart you can always revert to the photos, that should apply to any project.

Blog of bits done and to do

Not a restore but getting a TTR back on the road. Well it was already on the road as I bought it with a new MOT. The bike has done 6000 miles of which 2000 is in the last 7 years. The last year the bike has done 100 miles and is kitted out for the lanes for which I intend to use it! As soon as I got it home oil was le...

I've got a push bike for my daughter that's seen better days. My plan is to strip it, clean it, refurb or replace any parts on it that need doing. First problem...I have a long bolt that goes on the handlebar, the problem is there is nothing for it to screw in to? I've taken the handlebar off and there is not...

Refurbishing another 2006 TTR250 - January 2014

I am probably in danger of boring forum members as much of the work on this project will be exactly the same as my others. Most of it is just painstaking cleaning of parts etc. I have published a few of these pics in other threads so apologies if you experience deja vu! The new project TTR was first register...

Original street gear from TTR250?
(Preview)
I have plans on getting my 06 TTR250R ( US/Canadian Enduro Model) street legal. I'm pretty sure that I'll be getting the Tusk Dual sport kit as it's easy on the wallet, and appearently, not too hard to install. My question is: would getting all stock TTR road legal stuff that would've came off a stock roa...
