They will be exactly the same so, yes, you can do the swap biggrin

Out of interest, why the swap confuse

All swing arms are interchangeable from the 1993 model to the last TTRs made. The only difference being the chain guard supports as the metal-tanked models had a shorter guard than the later plastic-tanked models.

The Raid has an all-steel swing arm and a shorter rear axle. These can be upgraded to the alloy swing arm but will need the matching length axle to go with it.

PS Welcome to the forum! I just noticed it was your first post biggrin

I have come from riding trials after 20 years plus, find the bike a bit heavy im intending on riding long distance trials on it and trail riding.

i have changed the rear silencer for the alloy one, cant remember the make....the weight of the original..i needed 2 hands to pick it up...

mind you..what i should do is lock the fridge door and cut down on my ale....phil

This one?

If so, there is another £41 carriage on top plus VAT  when imported cry

Also the US swing arm has a different 3-bolt chain guide underneath so it would need one of those added to the shopping list. The UK swing arms have a 2-bolt chain guide.

Brian

PS Don't cut down on the ale and pasties - the extra weight helps with grip on those slippery LDT sections wink

PPS The TTR is perfect for LDTs - I got an MCC Triple Award in my cabinet to prove it biggrin
