Hi all I have just opened up the clutch case to replace the heavy duty springs back to standard on the ttr350 and I have seen that the cam chain guide has snapped at the base for the second time. I have ridde around 16,000miles minimum as a ttr250 over the last few years and I upgraded to the 350 big bore ki...

Hi again, I heard my girlfriend's 325 started to sound strange and has been off the road since. I just took a look and have found the front cover/plate is heavily scored, as is the first friction plate and the steel one. I was even more shocked to find the rear one exploded, thankfully all parts have be...

Updated MOT - LED conversion is now an MOT fail 4.1.4. Compliance with requirements“Existing halogen headlamp units should not be converted to be used with high intensity discharge (HID) or light emitting diode (LED) bulbs. If such a conversion has been done, you must fail the headlamp.”

So I’ve got a ttr 250 1993 with electrical start no kick. New battery was installed and it started no dramas but as it sat there for ages with the battery trickle charging weeks later the start button is non responsive. I’ve played around with all the start circuit sensors but can’t get it to start from sw...

Riddle me this! I am just stripping apart an engine that I bought as part of a job lot many years ago and I have no idea as to its background. It's from a metal-tanked bike as it has the extension on the transmission shaft for a magnet plus its number is 4GY whereas the blue TTRs invariably have a 4PX engine n...

Hi all, hope you all had a good Christmas. When my bike is idling my bikes at a nice 13.5 volts. (Fully charged battery on the bike), when I ride it the voltage drops to 6-9v but then goes back up to 13.5 volts when on a lower but steady throttle. I'll pull the generator off and try to check it out, has anyone...

My battery keeps draining a bit when I am not using the bike for long periods of time 😑 so today I fitted a new regulator, hopefully it will fix the problem

Hi all, My girlfriend has nearly got her ttr250 raid ready for the mot but the one thing being a pain is the front brake light. The rear brake is fine so we know the rear is okay. Hi Folks, would appreciate a bit of advice on this if possible. The riding experience on my 05 TTR is best described as "clunky" with respect to the throttle take up, smooth and progressive it is not. Don't think it has ever been really smooth since I've owned it, but I would expect everyone here who ride...

Hey guys, new here, been reading up on a few posts. I am going to look at a 2005 TTR 250 today, gonna possibly trade some stuff for it which would put me about $550 in the bike if I decide to trade.
