Wondered why the garage was smelling of juice lately, I think it may be down to this...

carb

Slight weep of petrol from this joint I think.

New gaskets or carb off to try and tighten the screws in the bottom up?

Unless there's a tear in the pumper diaphragm, you don't need the whole kit - just the 2 o-rings. And clean up the face of the base plate by rubbing it on flatting paper on a flat surface. It might be the carb bowl gasket though, by the look of the wet dirt around the bowl screw in your pic.
