when splitting the case do i need a tool like thishttps://www.rockymountainatvmc.com/parts/tusk-crankcase-splitter-p
I'm sure someone will come in also but my cases split easy with no special tools
No special tool needed to split the cases.
Tap around where the cases join with a hide hammer to help them part. You will hear the hollow sound change as the joint seal is broken.
There is a safe spot that you can get a plain screwdriver in to get the process started.
