I noticed the speedo cable was rubbing into the lower fork tube. I've put a bit of tape behind it to stop the wear 

The notch is pretty deep close to 80,000ks on it though

80,000 ks... I'm getting closer and closer! just about to hit 70,000! Tho it does have the 350 kit on it now. Havent been able to ride it much as I have a slew of problems to fix and no time...

 I bought a second bike a year ago a dr250r .to share the riding duties and slow the ttr ks 

Seems to be working but costs a bit more
