Hi there, I am new to this page, I have a 1993 ttr 250 and need to find the main fuel nozzle the original size and a smaller size also. My mechanic told me that the brand of the carburettor I have on my bike is (TK), anyone can help me?
So I just purchased my TTR last Friday night and had been sitting for 2 years. I pulled the carb off and the front of the carb where it attaches to the cylinder head the rubber boot was splitand had tape around it. Does anyone know if they sell just the rubber boot or do I have to buy the entire piece that mount...
Hi all, Roberta and I shipped the poor ttr250s back from South America, it really wasn't worth it from a financial perspective but I do like my one! I am just starting on refreshing it enough to ride again before next year tidying it up properly. I was just replacing the stretched cam chain and notice...

We rode 6850km in 6 weeks and 2 days on small back-roads around central highlands and north vietnam. I must say that Vietnam must be 1 of the best countrie...
Decided to go with powder coating the shock but it looks like the spring will only come of from the bottom. Therefore I need to disconeect the oil chamber. Does this need to be filled/pressurised to go back on or can I just disconnect, take off the spring and put it all back together again? I can't find any...
Many thanks to Igor for finding the Web Cam site - see here http://www.webcamshafts.com/ They offer two different camshaft sets as shown below. Anyone heard of the company or tried their camshafts?

I am going to replace the clutches on the bike next weekend. I understand how to do that but I cannot figure out how you adjust that arm while the motor is still in the bike. I cannot see the mark the arm is suppose to line up with. Has anyone done this on the bike without removing the motor? Is there anything I...
Greetings, I'm from Sri Lanka where it's rare to find genuine Yamaha parts for the TTR 250. I bought a TTR 250 Raid 06 2 weeks ago, I heard the sprag clutch sound when I was inspecting the bike, however I got a sweet deal for the bike so I had my mind set to fix it once I reach home. Fast forward to today, I remove...
I've ridden my TTR250 for around 14 hours since owning it, and on the last ride it started bogging when opening the throttle quickly. Video here showing the issue: https://www.youtube.com/shorts/H0CTU0fgXDY What should I check? I'm guessing clean the carb and jets out as a first step? -- Edited b...
How long does the sprag clutch last before it goes bang and takes engine with it, my ttr has 6,300 miles roughly If i buy a kick start kit and undid the connections for the starter would that prolong the life of it. how reliably is a ttr for everyday use and whats typical mpg
My 'new to me' TTR 350 arrived with a 14/48 sprocket combination. I am wondering if this is the best set up for me: mostly riding off the tarmac, but an annual trip abroad requires the bike to be able to do reasonable speeds on the tarmac. Any advice would be gratefully received.
Garmin Zumo 595 that I bought a few years back to replace my previou8s Garmin. It got too nervous and jumped ship somewhere near Talbingo. It was in the sidecar, so I didn't notice it gone. It seems that the GPS market is changing, Garmin no longer has a strangle hold, with all the telephone apps that a...
Well I am back from my little adventure and despite the naysayers before I left, I loved nearly every minute of it. I'll break the story down into days (bite size pieces) so you don't get too bored. DAY 1 - Plymouth to Kendal As this was gonna be the longest distance in one hit of 350+ miles I loaded the bike u...

Did the Baa Ja at the weekend, not on the TTR this time, went road only on the Crossrunner. Good weather and a decent days road riding around the Welsh countryside. Had the good fortune to run into Steve, (not literally), in the Sanctuary of Calm and had a decent chat. Pleasure to meet you Sir. Hope you ha...
on my last trip. I was surprised/disappointed by the stability in the sand. the 250 ttr is a short motorcycle. I decided to fit a steering damper and lengthen the swingarm (3 cm) at the same time to fit a wrf wheel and its 245 mm disc.
I have a 2008 ttr110.. bike has 102 hrs on it..motor is 100% stock. I had some carb issues with the stock carb so I purchased a mikuni vm26. Bike kicks off on first kick without having to use choke. Bought a ebike last week, where we now live is a bikeway all the way along side the river going to the city ( Adelaide ) 18kms away, also continues to the coast but that bit is flat & boring. I already have a couple of bikes but there are plenty of hills near home making for sore legs, we live right of the e...
