Bought a ebike last week, where we now live is a bikeway all the way along side the river going to the city ( Adelaide ) 18kms away, also continues to the coast but that bit is flat & boring. I already have a couple of bikes but there are plenty of hills near home making for sore legs, we live right of the edge of the hills.
The videos are all only 5 minutes from home & so easy as all I need to do is jump on the bike & go.
I know it's not a motor bike but it does have two wheels & is a lot of fun so hope you don't mind me posting.
Cost me $1699 au, range is not bad, I've been getting 60-70kms & 2-3bars left
21 speed with 0 to 6 PAS (power assist) is is possible to fit a off road kit that de- restricts the speed & adds a thumb throttle. Australian law is the pedal assist drops off at 25kph, I'm ok with it as is
It's not a serious mid motor racer, more of a help me get up the hills you old bugger with rear hub drive bike.
48volt 250w motor max allowed by au law, guys have fitted a 500w motor & hand throttle, not for me I have four motor bikes if I want to go fast on

e-treddlies are a pretty good thing.
I first saw them at the top of a mountain in Italy. It was a fair dinkum mountain too, not something like Mt Torrens or Mt Panorama. They'd ridden up the gravel tracks rather than the road.

I bought another Ebike, this one is a mid drive, big 29" wheels air shock on the rear, pulls pretty hard & a heap of fun. I did take the TTR out last week, still a great bike.
