There have been a number of on-forum and offline queries about smoking engines in the last few days so I thought it might be worth putting my thoughts down here for you guys either to shoot down in flames or improve upon If the smoke is the only symptom and the engine isn’t rattling then there is a very goo...
Hi all A cheap set of tyres is available but they are 110/80/18 80/90/21 Would they fit? How would they affect the bike? Many thanks Mark Currently it has 120/90/90 & 90/90/21. It's a blue 02
Just thinking about getting some heated grips on the ttr, I have looked at various second hand sets of Oxford grips as I am in a budget with the bike and then I saw these from hong kong, similar to the ones Brian uses but quite a lot cheaper! Anyone ordered any? http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/370646465319...

Hi peeps sadly it has come to the time for me to sell my ttr as I just don't get the time to use it and I think it should go to a good home with someone who can use it.

hi all, just bought my first TT250R yesterday and finally stopped riding her long enough to join the group. I'm a British ex-pat (from Jersey originally) living in a beautifull town called Kampot on the coast of Cambodia. the roads around here are generally in piss poor condition and lots of them are j...
Here's a graphic illustration of "A tad too much throttle!" This was a TTR that went bang in a big way. It's NOT mine, I just came across it whilst surfing the web and thought, ugh - that's gonna be expensive to mend. Let it be a warning - treat your engine with thought and kindness. Martyn
Ive got a rattle when i let off the throttle. Kind of sounds like some loose. is this common on a brand new bike? i have no idea what to look for either. anyone had same problem?

Hi Re 1993 ttr Need to remove the flywheel to check the sprag clutch. Undone the centre bolt easy enough with an air wrench, but now need to pull the flywheel off. I read that the rear axle could be used but that started to take the thread off the axle without too much effort. So I'm trying to find a suitab...
