No good but  ''it'' happens wink

I would be stripping the carb. Here an article which should help for a visual... Simple pictorial guide to stripping and checking a carb  ''Just be carefull not to snap the float mount!'' or you will need this thread...Repairing a broken carburetor

To drain carby there is a drain screw located at the bottom of carb L/H side. Be carefull not to strip this also.

Clean or replace oil filter.

It would be a good idea to use electrical cleaner on any plugs ect. (just to be sure)

All good..up to you..If it's still hard to start after that then maybe a carb strip would be best.

Don't forget to clean or replace the spark plug as this will be fouled. (if you have'nt already :)

Also when you put it back together add about 100ml-150mm of metholated spirits into a (full) tank of fuel. This will help to evaporate any water inside the fuel system.

happened again tonight down Tamworth road in Notts waist deep water and once it past carb is flooded so not trying high water again, got a set procedure now, get bike on dry land, empty airbox of water, open carb drain screw untill petrol and started straight up.

Oil still fine changed that earlier today, filter cleaned after tonights adventure.

Guess I won't try too deep water again.

just wondering my airbox lid at the top has 3 seperate holes in the top with mess is this standered.
