Hello to all you TTR250 fans out there,

                                                           I have been trying to decide which carby i like best but still have not come up with an answer no So far (offline) people have taken more interest in the gold one. I think it is interesting to see what other people think. Just a vote GOLD or BLACK will do fine.

They are a press fit. I pushed the pipe back in and no leaks - phew!

There is a filter in there but its fixed to the top of the brass float needle seat and accessed from inside the carb. Doesn't show very clearly on the carb fiche cry

On the choice you've given, Gold without a doubt. Also like the choke button more.

The gold does look could but the black will perhaps suit the colour scheme on your bike better??

 This is what i was thinking although gold does look quite smart. So far gold is winning bleh

UNCALLED FOR COMMENT: it depends on rest of color scheme, and which parts are more functional;

ATTEMPTED THREAD HI-JACK: I notice the fuel inlet pipes are at different angles - these things look like a press fit - has anyone had experience removing/replacing or rotating them, and if so - any words of caution?

 That takes black back up the ladder but gold is still winning by a bees **** biggrin

The rest of the colour scheme is black but i want to break it up a little so might start doing a few things gold. Just wanted to see the interest in colours first. Both carbies are fully fuctional & been re-built although the gold one is newer.

Apparently there is a filter in there but don't quote me on this as it was only in the wind. Not tried taking this off & aint going to ''just in case''.

Black if you haven't got gold anywhere else on the TTR.

Silver would be preferred though but wasn't on offer as an option wink

Just wondering was it worth taking it out or was squirting carby cleaner & air compressor enough to get all the gunk out??

Silver aye wink Seems like you like your bike just the way Mr YAMAHA does smile Except he likes to detail it with greeny gold wink
