Took the TTR for it's first real ride... A few single tracks thought the forestry... but the Rekluse clutch was slipping so much I had to bring the revs on quite slowly to try and keep the slip to a minimin.. didn't really work but at least I haven't fryed the clutch or oil.. so I looks as if I will be back ins...

Hi Guys, I am swapping out my standard 14 tooth front sprocket for a 13 tooth one and noticed (as shown in pics) the current one seems to have rubber on both sides that the new one doesn't. Today's been very drizzly and not like summer at all. Whilst out and about in the car we were following a van. The registration plate caught my eye and since I had my camera handy here is a blurred crop of the snap. Quite appropriate but, sadly, not 250 TTR or TTR 250. Martyn

Went along to assist a local club set out the track for a moto x race meeting on Sunday and was invited to join in! Apparently you can get a one day competition licence, but I won't be taking up the offer, I had enough fun tearing round the track after it was set out.

Just wondering if it's possible to use the gauges from an XT350 (speedo at least). I know you guys can use xt225 gauges, but how do you hook up a speedo cable to the front hub if your blue model only has the Yamaha odometer?
