I bought some Enjoy Mfg decal sets which include these headlight decals that won't fit the blue UK TTR headlights on my project bikes. They are high quality very thick decals which are much easier to fit than the skinny ones which can wrinkle up £8 each including UK p&p Brian
I sometimes have side panels that are sound but tatty. I have been looking at various solutions but the simplest and most effective method seems to be to fit decals that pretty much cover the whole panel. Here are the panels cleaned, with any rough spots smoothed down and thoroughly cleaned with clutc...

Checked a few blogs, including this one which gets close, but no one has nailed it yet ! So.... Does anyone know EXACTLY where/what the factory sett...
If so, it would be great if you could register as a member of the forum. There is a lot of "grey" space on the world map that needs colouring blue with owners from those nations please Click on List All Users in the menu bar about half way down the page and you will see what I mean. Many thanks Bria...
Just a quick reminder that we still stock these brilliant "speedo healers". I wasn't very good at converting kph to mph in my head so got together with the MD of SpeedoDRD in the States to manufacture a special healer for the TTR. Superb bit of kit See: http://www.ttr250.com/TTR_extra...

Third time lucky and I managed to find a newsagent with a copy of Motorcycle News on its shelf! Inside it there is a "MCN Adventure Special". Page 20 has been given over to an article by Robin Webb of "Salt & Gold" fame with some nice pics of his big-tanked TTR250. Sadly, there...
Dear TTR owners - Let me introduce myself? I am an old git of 54 with a passion for motorcycling. My friends think I am eccentric, I have no idea why. For years I have ridden trail bikes, although I am told that I am useless and should stick to road sports bikes. The first trail bike was a standard BSA 65...
Got this bike stand but the lift is not high enough. Ive adjusted the stand to gain the most. Problem is for the stand to go under the bike i need a block of wood under the rear wheel. Then when i raise the stand the lift is only just enough to have both wheels of the ground. It will have to do as its impossibl...
After a ride over the weekend... I have found the gearing is far to tall.. 13/44 So I have ordered 12/13/14 engine sprockets & a 47 rear.. The 14/47 gives the same ratio as 13/44 12 & 13 sprockets to lower the ratio.. which are the same as increassing the rear sprocket by 3 or 6 teeth.. Should beab...

Fancy fitting some Wavy discs to my TTR, but when asking about I have had a mixed response to the idea in general. Just wondered if owners who have fitted Wavy discs have found an improvement, and under what conditions? One silly question - brake grease - where do you put it and more important where don't...
Wondering why some of my posts have the new post symbol beside them. Also some of my pics are the wrong way up. Im doing all this on an iphone. Any suggestions to help me post better plez.
I have just stripped out a linkage arm where the previous owner had tried replacing the standard spherical bearing with phosphor bronze plain bearing It didn't work as you will see from the pics below
Had a miss-fire problem since I had the bike, thought I had cured it with a new plug and cleaning the plug seating on the head but it's come back again. I was wondering if it could be a faulty coil or plug cap - or anything else?. I can't see it being a carb problem - that's been cleaned out a few times. It mainly...
