gearing to tall

After a ride over the weekend... I have found the gearing

is far to tall.. 13/44

So I have ordered  12/13/14 engine sprockets & a 47 rear..

The 14/47 gives the same ratio as 13/44

12 & 13 sprockets to lower the ratio.. which are

the same as increassing the rear sprocket by 3 or 6 teeth..

Should beable to use same length chain with all

3 engine sprockets..

The US bikes come with 13/52 which didn't leave much for top end on tarmac. Wanting a better cruising speed, I had ordered a 14t front sprocket from Brian but then decided I wasn't quite ready to buy a chain.

So I have gone to a 49t rear which gives me noticeably better top end but still has plenty of low end for climbing all the rocky stuff we have here.

I think the ratio is quite close (but slightly lower) than the ever popular 14/52.

My auzzy model has 14 front.  44 rear. Just about perfect for my weight on the road.

Ive had it in the bush and its way to tall. As my budget allows me i will start with a 13 front.

Then prob a larger rear.
