Sorry, No, I don't know the front fork settings but would love to know? I've checked my manual, nothing there. Checked a few blogs, including this one which gets close, but no one has nailed it yet ! So....
Does anyone know EXACTLY where/what the factory settings are? (My model 94 Open Enduro) ?
AND...
Can anyone give well qualified/experienced advice on settings (+/-) for my weight of 170lbs riding a mix of bitumen and bumpy off road ?
(No, I ain't racin' along, just seeking the best balance of speed and control....and reckon the info must be more refined than experimentation.)
Take up the challenge Ye Lovers of all that is TTR ! Lets nail this front fork settings sucker.
There's your answer to the above post - loose 20 lb
Saw a Big Guy but short, with a jacked up TTR? I mentioned lowering links to him but he said he had no problem?? I found out why when he rode off, the back end nearly bottomed out.
The spring rate calculator estimates what spring rate you should be using based on your weight and some info about your riding style. For me it suggests the .46kg/mm spring, based on my 175lb weight instead of the .42kg/mm stocker.
Now, I'm not sure how applicable this is to you as your forks might be totally different than my North American model (KYB 43C forks).
