Went out on a hosted group ride yesterday of about 160 miles & around 100 miles in, the TTR felt like it was running out of fuel even though I had topped off at around 60 miles. I switched to reserve but it quit & I coasted to the side of the road. I had just rebuilt the carb this past week & the bike...

Found a 2002 YZ 426 front end, wheel, brake, and shock for 180 bucks on craigslist. The install took three trips to town to get the right parts. I needed a few washers for the stem and triple, about 2cm stack. The bike didn't come with an axle, so i ordered on ebay 15. Somehow they wheel spacing was off b...

We started out from Croyde and got as far East as Brendon, a picturesque little village on the Exmoor National Park. One or two of the lanes were very dusty...
Popped out for a ride today and noticed that when accelerating hard in all gears from 3rd on, once I get above a certain number of revs the bike starts to rev like the clutch is being pulled in and the bike stops pulling. Driving at a more reserved pace isn't a problem, it only happens when the revs hit a cer...

On my new to me 2003 ttr 250 I noticed that the rear of the front fender seems so short. I hate to have all the nasty dirt and water flinging on my cylinder head! Is this an issue? Is there an adapter or a different fender to use or will this mess up the cooling aspect and block air flow? Thanks for any feedback!...
These are Steve Copsey's pictures copied from his Yahoo Group photo album. Just a quick post to say that I bought one of these a month or so ago but have only just used it for the first time on TTR exhaust studs. It works really well and has certainly earned its place in my toolbox I used to use two nuts tightened against each other but that's such a faff - so easy with this extractor ...
Hi all, thought I should share this. The adventure travel film festival 16-18 august Sherborne dorset. Great event been to the last 2 and can recommend this to anyone who fancies a bit of travelling
On my "shopping" TTR, the choke makes the engine rev quite high which isn't what you need on a cold engine before the oil gets circulated I know it's going to do it so am ready but why is it happening The TTR runs perfectly otherwise. Brian
This is one of the harder trail rides around this area.. I had not done it before... They are about to start logging the area... so it was now or never..... It consisted of a 40km loop with 2 enduro sections.. the track was totaly under trees apart from a 3km river section with 15 or more water crossings.....

If have a Kuoba lowering link on mine and would like to put the stock link back on and give it a try. I noticed that the stock link the previous owner took off had the set off needle bearings in it.
