Rode an XT 250 back in 1980.  Never thought id be ridding one of its decendants 

in 2013.

XT's are nice :) I got to ride a 1993 xt350, but unfortunately i didn't get to open it up to "compare" it to the TTR250 lol

I bought a nice new TT250 about 82 when they first came out... sold it 6 weeks later... what pile of dung it was..
bought a new Suzuki PE175Z with the full foater rear end.. then went out & won the Nelson 200cc enduro champs on it...
would love to pick up another one now to add to my old dirt bike collection...

The XT250s were quite popular here with trail riders a while back but I haven't seen any around for a while so maybe the enthusiasm has waned confuse
