Wanted Brake reservoir mounting cap
Permalink

I am after the brake reservoir mounting cap/top clamp shown on the right in the picture.  Brian from Totally ttrs sent me a replacement (the one on the left) which should fit 99% of bikes but of course not mine confuse

Can anyone else help me out and also let Brian know what the part code is for my one with the wider/shorter fit and offset screw holes? smile

Cheers,

Scott

Petenz

Well that's something I've learnt!  I will keep an eye out in future, it didn't even register when I tightened them up. Cheers.

Hi Adrian

The shock is so good I didn't even notice it...which after feeling like a jockey on a pogo stick up until now is a vast improvement!  I will be chasing up Justin at Gibbs Performance next week re my shock.

Did you say that you'd changed the fork seals on your bike?  If so, would you do it again(?!!) and would you do mine with me 'assisting' (and trying to learn something) for a fee obviously?  Feel free to PM me.

Cheers

Scott

In the pic ...
you have the brake unit mounted on the bend
of the handle bar.... thats why it broke...
It's got to be mounted on a stright section...

Hi scott, yes have done fork oil seals before. Not on the ttr, but have some forks that need a rebuild, so gives me an excuse to get on with it, we let you know asap. Adrian
