Hi Guys, Need to loosen my rear axle nut to adjust my chain and the biggest socket I have is 21mm which is to small. I am about to head out to buy a bigger one and was hoping someone can confirm the size for me, it looks a 23mm would do it. Thanks, Michael
I did it again - bought the wrong parts! I bought these when I really wanted the external spacer Never mind - might be a useful spare at £7 plus £1 p&p within the UK See also http://www.totallyttrs.com/NOS/index#spacer Email Totally TTRs if you want one Brian

I was all set to buy a KLX 250 dual sport for use on a dirt road with some freeway riding and saw a TTR 250 for sale that was made street legal. I've heard most 250 class DSs get a bit shaky at 60mph +. How fast can the TTR go and how stable is it at high speeds? Thanks. Ted
The parts website is great and very helpful and friendly, just asked them for bits to recommensing my ttr for the road and came up with a very good price, a lot lower price than I thought, wish pay day would hurry up. can you recommend me some cheap road tyres for MOT and which hammerite suits the frame.

Hello everyone, long time lurker of this forum but now I have a question so I decided to make an account. The left hand rear indicator bracket on my 2004 TTR has snapped as shown in pictures below. The very rough 2009 that I purchased is starting to look quite respectable as I have just re-installed the overhauled and painted engine. Now I have some questions re hoses to and from the carby. First relates to the photo that I will post with this topic. Questions contained within the photo and what I...
I often speak to customers on the phone about the mysteries of chain fitting and remembered that I included a "show and tell" in the last project bike thread so I have started this new thread to make it easier to find. The chains I use (and sell) are Renthal R3 116 link ones so it needed to be shor...
I'm trying to decide !!!!!! Having been distracted for a few weeks with my other bikes I finally took the TTR out for a trail ride earlier. Now I'm no lightweight but even so I expected more grunt. I'm comparing the TTR to the experience I had on a friends KTM 250 which is like a caged animal..So, are all TTR...
I have too many projects lined up so might be willing to part with this frame. It is from a blue TTR250 that has never been registered in the UK.There were a couple of complete TTRs on eBay going for a song because they can't be registered for road use - see here and here My frame plus a TTR such as those would m...
Just thought I would leave feedback on the Nos kit I bought from Brian last year. The reason being that a lot of people had asked about it and I had promised to let everyone know how it goes. I have finally got past ''the break-in stage'' and gotten around to fitting it so here it is. It is great for a quick bur...

I noticed when I took the tank off a hole on top of the carb manifold pipe, to me it looks like someone has cut something off as the hole is nice and round, should there be a pipe or something connected to it, I'm a bit conserned that water might get into it and into the engine

I saw this while doing a quick search and like the colour (spelt Australian) scheme VERY MUCH! Just finished refurbishing a 1...
On the exhaust side. Side cover and battery cover there is a silver sticky tape shielding protecting the plastic from melting.. Sort of like the material Dr smiths space suit was made of in the show lost in space. Without going to Mr Yamaha and paying a fortune, is there anything you guys have used to giv...
I bought a few crates of TTR parts last week and in amongst them was this generator cover. I have chipped off the Chemical Metal so that the damage is obvious. Got to be about the worst I have seen
