I just ordered the Moose Racing standard seat cover. Right on the package it says TTR250. But when I pulled it out and quickly threw it over the seat, it didn't seem like it was the right cut. I know they require some stretching, but there is a ton of material that gathers in the bend of the seat. Also, all t...

TTR250 wheels are becoming quite rare and I haven’t seen any advertised on eBay for quite a while.I have a pair of gold rimmed wheels that I was saving back for a gold/black (John Player Special look) Open Enduro project bike but, realistically, I am not going to be able to do that project now.The whee...
Could some body, anybody please tell me with the order of the instrument light panel on the 1993 open enduro. I have figured out that the bottom left out of the four is the neutral light, but what are the others??????

I'm taking delivery of my TTR on Thursday, unseen to me. I've got 800 km to do back home then, so want to fit my GPS via a 12V lighter socket. Can someone tell me what the terminals look like so that I can prep my cables? A pic would help as well. All the bikes I've had were a simple M6 stud coming out from the batt...
Just wondering if anyone has had any luck with the Seal Mate? I have watched the instructional video but am a little boggled on how to get my dirt seal out of the recess in the lower part of the fork without damaging it. Any hints or tips would be greatly appreciated.
Would like to put on an FMF Q core pipe but not modify jetting etc.. Would the bike run ok? I just like the looks and the weight savings. I hate messing with carbs, air boxs, I just want to leave it stock, Would it run lean or rich? any suggestions appreciated! Thanks!
Hi there. Wonder if someone can help me. The TTR has failed its MOT test on suspension bearing play. I've got as far as stripping out the swing arm, rear shock etc. However the collar, with the large hex head holding the relay arm to the frame seems reluctant to move (there's a welded lug to hold the hex in o...
There are a lot of urban myths and quite a bit of folklore about bearings and the best make, type and quality. I received the email copied below today and, unless I have got hold of the wrong end of the stick, the company seems to produce virtually every make and type of bearing known to man. Is this eviden...
Pick it up next week Needs a few alterations but notice the wider foot pegs which is being discussed on another thread needs a good clean, so first job is to strip clean and regrease
I got this ttr and the glass is clear, is this standard as opposed to the units that have a certain amount of obscurity to it? Not sure if an aftermarket unit, have a look

I found this forum while researching tutorials on how to rebuild a TTR 250 engine. I'm an American living/working in Vietnam and I recently bought a Japan Model Raid. Not sure of the year because the VIN doesn't match the traditional VIN format. I'm coming off of a 2013 KTM 500 EXC Motard so as you can i...
Been on a 2007 model with 95% road ridding. No dents no rust. Im looking for 350 bucks. I bought my TTr 250 OE 1994 registered 1999 recently. Posted a question about a headlight and reply was most helpful. Thanks. Bike in remarkably good condition with just under 20,000 Kms. I got it from a local enthusiast into trials and road riding. Anyway looking forward to some fun with it ! Ian

At a handsome 6ft 4inch I have just ordered the longer cables so I can fit my hi bars However I have a secret hidden hope, my clutch biting point is right at the very end of the lever. No matter how much free play I take out the biting point is as soon as the cable is pulled after the slack is taken up Reckon new...
Just a quick question really. Are all ttr250 using the same front sprocket design, I am aware my open enduro is a import as its a 1993 in the UK so doesn't show up when doing a UK part search. So if I just type 1999 in the parts search all bits should fit my bike? (not petrol tanks of course)
Hi all See that little cover that goes over the idiot lights on the dash on my 1993 open enduro, I don't have one and need one I have cold hard cash to part with if anybody has one laying round ?
