Hi
I have a Staintune exhaust for sale if anyone is interested. The pipe came with the bike but I prefer the standard so refitted it. It has done very few miles and the condition is nearly new.
I'll upload some photos asap.
Thanks

Good fun fabricating it although I did find that the bracket on the right hand side of the bike was actually holding the tail of the bike together due to a cracked frame!.. My poor baby, what have...

Just thought i'd let everyone know what rear sprockets interchange. The front (as far as i know) is not interchangable with anything as the TTR-250 front sprocket has a built in collar whereas the others have a separate collar. I have found front sprockets that fit the shaft but whether or not this wou...

Does anyone have an idea how much performance improvement you get by fitting both a shorter header and a Morad pipe? I think the Motad gets you about one more pony, what about the header combined? I'd like a bit more torque and am wondering if changing the pipe and header is a worthwhile step forward or w...

The following text and pictures are copied from my resto thread here. The chain I use is a Renthal R3 116 link so it needed to be shortened for the 13/48 sprockets I am using. The front sprocket is 30mm and should be torqued to 110Nm or 80 ft lbs after fitting the two-use tab washer.First up is to work out ho...

Found a local aluminin welder. i cant take the TTR to him so he wanted a template. There is wire taped inside to to keep basic shape. He said he can do a couple of spot welds then i can take it to try on the bike bending it alittle. Hope to have it done in a few weeks. Will post a photo when completed.
Hi guys, just putting a new piston in and noticed it has and arrow on the top of it. Assuming looking at the different size molded indents and the valves that this arrow should point forwards (towards the front of the bike) but some quick clarification would be great. Thanks
Ok, so I'm done with tubes and patches and tyre levers in the rear, fitted the 18" Tubliss system last night. Time will tell how well it works. If it does it's going on the front...

What is the plain tube (next to the breather with the yellow tip) that one end empties out near the bottom of the frame and the other end leads to what looks like the float bowl? For some reason it has started dripping fuel overnight. I have had this bike for six months (always left the fuel tap on) it has nev...
