Help - ttr splutters at higher revs

Just wondered if anyone had any idea about a problem I have, when the bike has been running for about 5 mins it starts to intermittently splutter when the throttle is opened. Thanks in advance for any replies.

Does the exhaust smell of petrol or is petrol overflowing at the carb? It sounds like the carb could be flooding.

Alternatively, it could be quite the opposite and the carb isn't getting the fuel it should have. Easiest way to check is to open the drain valve at the bottom of the float bowl and check there is a good flow.
