As you can see they are nice and clean for now. Wondering why the sponge is there. Maybe for sound deading Or protection of the panel itself. I guess if the sponge does absorbe water on creek crossing it would soon vibrate off.

Wondering why these tabs. (number 2 in photo ) are there. are they something to do with quick release wheel. Take the chain link apart then slid wheel off the back. Thnx.

If so, it would be great if you could register as a member of the forum. There is a lot of "grey" space on the world map that needs colouring blue with owners from those nations please Click on List All Users in the menu bar about half way down the page and you will see what I mean. Notice theres an extra mounting hole in engine block. Do the use ttr 250 motors in quads or some other yamaha bike.

Got this bike stand but the lift is not high enough. Ive adjusted the stand to gain the most. Problem is for the stand to go under the bike i need a block of wood under the rear wheel. Went along to assist a local club set out the track for a moto x race meeting on Sunday and was invited to join in! Apparently you can get a one day competition licence, but I won't be taking up the offer, I had enough fun tearing round the track after it was set out.

I was all set to buy a KLX 250 dual sport for use on a dirt road with some freeway riding and saw a TTR 250 for sale that was made street legal. I've heard most 250 class DSs get a bit shaky at 60mph +. How fast can the TTR go and how stable is it at high speeds? Thanks. Ted
