Haven't picked it up yet, but have just committed to buy a hopefully reasonable TT250R. Hopefully the start of a beautiful relationship. I presently have a Kawasaki W650 road bike. -- Edited by TTRfan on Saturday 6th of April 2013 09:23:13 AM

Saw the Motod exhaust for the TTR250 and thought aha! That would fit my XT225 ....... only it doesn't. Which in turn led to looking at the TTR in more detail and, you guessed it, buying one. So far so good and totally different from the XT. Need some proper tyres but things are looking good. (Mind Tot...

Getting a TTR250
(Preview)
Hello everbody! I'm getting a TTR250 tomorrow (as in 3/13/13). She's a 1999 and the odometer says 1,100 miles. Overall the bike looks in good shape, just some faded/curling decals. I will also clean the carb out when I get it. Sorry, no pics yet.

Thought it about time to say hi. I have a 1993 OE which in it's standard form was lacking in fuel range and power. so first was a large acerbis xr400 tank. Fitted perfectly with some longer brackets to the engine mount and one at the seat, which hasn't been deformed. Sorted. On a recent trip to the States, I...

Hullo all. I'm now in my ninth year of TTR250 ownership. My poor old bike has 64,000km on the clock, but has really covered about 67k and about 4,000hrs. This is due to the fact that it is a bike used almost solely for work in the far north pastoral area of my state. My bike is by no means a high-mileage exam...
