I am looking for someone with a Raid in Devon, that I could check my new Acerbis fitting kit and seat covers on. Must have original Raid seat. Will supply pasty and tea. Steve

Most of us use our TTRs for trail. track or road and therefore the requirements are very different to those of a race-tuned engine. I have been contacted by a kart racer who is using a TTR250 donk in his kart and has asked about tuning it to the max. This was my reply:Regarding the carb, the standard TTR car...
Excellent condition taken from a low miles 2006 steel frame YAMAHA WR250F. They will fit alloy WR 250 2007-2011 maybe also the 450 but not to sure on this. these are ready to bolt on. Might fit TTR 250?? I think they will also fit YZF models and the alloy framed WR. They cost £££s from yamaha as a set like...
A few weeks back I noticed there must be an oil leak on the RHS as my wrapped exhaust was smoking a fair bit just forward of the join to the rear section. I'd not noticed it before as the bike has mainly been out in the wet and the exhaust wrap gives off a fair bit of steam then anyway. Upon investigation there w...
Out on Salisbury Plain, looks lovely but the ice was an inch thick on the puddles and the wind chill around -7 so I did not stop for long. [url=https://flic.kr/p/24F8Np...
Hi all, I have a 93 oe with a few raid parts, which recently has had new pisyon rings, cam chain etc. Before i took the bike apart it was running 142/48 jetting and started reasonably well and idled perfectly. Since then i have "rebuilt" the carb using an all balls kits from the ttr shop. I tried to run the...
Hi all from sunny West Wales. I used to be on the forum a few years ago, but have not been out riding for a while but i have decided to get back in to trail riding a bit more.
Hi Guys n gals, i probably need a new speedo for my ttr. anyone used the Trailtech Endurance 11 and also KOSO BB EX2. I saw someone used the cheap ones on the bay about £25. Any long term views appreciated or other options. Mike
Hi, i know these speedos on th open enduro can be problematic, but mine just went dimmer and not showing any zero or the current mileqage of the bike. The screen lights up, and i have 12 volts coming in on the red and the brown, but only showing about 1.7 volts on the blue. I understand this should show 5 vo...

Decided 17 loose spokes was probably a few to many. So a quick visit to TTR towers for a new set and the loan of a wheel thingy, out came the grinder and after an hour new shiny ones fitted. Now has about 3 to 4mm runout, will spend a while trying to get this a bit better. But guessing with a knobbly on a couple o...
Simply question, how do I completely remove the rear indicators on my bike (2004 TTR-250) I don't want to ruin any of the electrics so I have to be sure. I removed the brackets and the indicators are now dangling from the wire. What do I do next?
Bought in April 2016 to satisfy a "moped" challenge with the team from work that was settled as off-roading up in the Peaks, including riding there and back (I'm in Peterborough). Bought from Terry Rudd Motorcycles although it was a part ex for him so he spent no time on it. I quickly found a few things wr...
Hey there. So I noticed when I run my bike wide open/full throttle and then right after closing the throttle or even going half-throttle, my engine 'blips' and surges for about half a second before engine braking. I'm wondering if this is an issue with carb tuning. It's kinda annoying esp. when speedi...
Moskomoto Reckless 80 turned up. Worth every cent, fits perfectly. Doesn’t move at all. I’ll be fine with one kidney...... I'm dizzy now - I have spun them round for you all. Cubber
lost tools I was lucky when I got my TTr it still had its full tool kit under the side panel plus the right wheel nut sized rear one. Now i had a puncture Saturday I was only out for two hours as the weather was ****ty but I needed a ride I had not been out since Christmas. Now I'm not one for pissing around in the v...
Sorry, not a TTR, but my bro has been having trouble with his early Yam FJ1200 and it falls to me to solve it so I'm after some ideas before I delve in. As this is the only bike forum I'm active on, it's you lot I'm turning to first in my hour of need! Starts fine from cold, runs for about 4 miles then starts to run...
