I have just stripped an old OE with the intention of blasting & then powder coating. Over the last 2 weeks I have been tormented with colour choice as I see that the "purple" is so very hard to match, either powder or regular paint. I see Brian has put a lot of research & work into this (and many othe...

When I was out today on the TTR it didn't feel right on turn in ( 80-100kph on dirt roads ) so when I got home I checked the swing arm for movement, seems ok, grabbed the forks & they seemed ok as well. A few months ago in trying to overcome the turn in issues I slipped the forks 10mm through the triple clam...

Trying out a new back tyre for a run to Spain plus 5 days of rocky trails. My normal tyre for this has been a Heidenau K60, 130/80 x 18 but it's getting a bit worn out. My lovely knobbly Maxxis IT would be toast after the 1000 miles of 65mph tar plus maybe 400 of track so I'm experimenting with a Michelin Anakee...
Spotted a minor fuel leak today seems to be around the pilot screw. Would a worn/damaged O ring cause a fuel leak? Or is the O ring just an air seal? Thanks
