Hi there Marty from Sydney, Australia here stoked as to find this forum thanks Steve 

ive got a nice ttr I am slowly trying to put back  together super fun projec! Got under 5k on the clock and I am 3rd owner my dad being 2nd can’t wait to get some new number plates on her

Thank, I had a good time in the shed on the weekend got most of it sorted just having a carby issues going to pull it out and have another look but Going good

Progressing well 

The carby is an easy job just make sure when you think it's clean clean it a bit more . Be careful or avoid taking the float pin out. It only  comes out one way. The wrong way it will break the post off 

Check the inlet stub while the carby I'd off make sure the rubber hasn't come away from the metal 

If it's OK I put a cable tie around mine seems to help stop it coming  apart . Might just be me being a bit over the top though
