50 minutes of battery life on a closed circuit and up to 2 hours of mixed going so not a trail bike despite being road legal John.

Electric bikes & cars are getting better all the time, watched plenty of videos from Harrys garage on plug in EV cars & SUVs. Was talking with the wife yesterday while driving into town, had a EV next to us, would be ideal as a round around for her or going to work like she does with her Mk7 Golf.
I did say if she charges it like her phone it would be coming home on a tilt tray LOL, can't top it up at the side of the road.

Back to bikes, I have seen a few trials bikes at events & apart from the range the biggest issue was throttle operation, without a clutch they can be jerky, of course this may be able to be programed to some degree but I did see the issue with roll on / roll off.
Also seem plenty of EV bike tests from Teapot one & others, the performance is outstanding with battery range the only issue, I can see the EV bike great for getting to work & back where range may not be an issue.
But if you run out of battery it's not like turning the fuel tap to RES or adding a bit of fuel from your mates bike.

The advantage of no noise would be good for guys on big blocks that want to ride around or the kids have a run without upsetting people around the area, also for enduro's in a closed area.

Cheers Terry
