Good to see someone out and about in decent weather Terry!

At this point in time, with a lot of us still locked down, the more photos and videos the better - dogs included

The UK is going great guns with its vaccination programme and I get my first vax tomorrow. The current lockdown, plus the effect of the vax, might mean we have a bit of freedom from the beginning of March - hope so anyway!

This covid thing is just nuts, Victoria has just gone into a 5 day lockdown, international fly in has spread the UK version of covid.

Boy when covid is over or at least under control we will all rejoyce at being able to have freedom, ride walk etc.

To think this Triumph sat here for a year without me riding is nuts, it is a joy to ride or just look at...next to get rego is the WRR, when the Thruxton runs out the Scrambler will get 3 months, when the WRR runs out the TTR will get another run. As I have no income I have to take it easy on costs such as rego.

Good luck with the injections, don't think I could handle being confined to base for that long, I would go crazy

As I did most of my jobs around the house yesterday after I walked the pup I took the Thruxton out again & grabbed some lunch. Nice sunny 35c today & perfect for a ride in the hills. 120kms around the hills 80-100kph zones with the odd 50-60kph through the small towns.

It really is a joy to ride & sounds great with the Staintunes....sounds very British if you know what I mean...no photos or video.

Just thought I would add a video from a couple of years ago on the Thruxton.

I don't have any road helmets set up for the gopro anymore so it have to be an old video, but I did ride both of these roads today, not far from home

Went out on the Triumph Thruxton for a bite to eat, was a warm overcast day 35-37c & perfect while moving. Stopped at Lyndoch Sunrise bakery for a drink & a pepper pie...couple of photos....quick 120kms no traffic very nice

Cheers, the two Triumph's i.e Scrambler & Thruxton are so different, carby & EFI, 270 & 360 crankshaft, riding position & even the brakes. Same with the TTR & WRR carby & EFI, brakes etc. Very lucky to have four bikes that are so different to ride & with the Adelaide hills on my doorstep ( 1 km as the crow flys ) Our weather allows us to ride all year round & then there is Covid...lets hope the UK gets that under control so you guys can get out & about again.

The Thruxton hit 51,000kms yesterday so it's looking pretty good for an old girl.

Gee Terry, you know how to rub it in don't you. The poor Poms, europeans and Yanks are in lock down knee deep in snow and us poor convicts are suffering the most perfect balmy bike riding summer for many a year. Lets just hope the balmy warmth of the Australian experience expressed in your photo can warm and inspire them to survive their trials and tribulations from afar.

Here's my latest. My grandson and I on the Newnes Plateau near Lithgow. This area was heavily burnt out in last Jan/Feb. The feature we are standing on is always bare of trees but in the distant back ground the tree can be seen as recovering. (The trails are still a hoot).

I was out last Thursday as well. I was thinking of going out today but today is shaping up into the normal 'no escape' muggy Sydney summer's day. I might have to mow the lawn or going for a surf instead.

Ah! The Adelaide Hills - road racing made legal. Your vids reminded me I'll have to find an excuse to pack up the LC for a road trip to my sister's place and a week or so of 'touring' The Hills. The LC would be in its element.

I had a LJ XU-1 back in 1974 I remember pulling 160kph past the dam...was a quick car

The Australian bushfires have caused so much damage & not far from where I live, I'm right on the edge of the hills & had fires within 4kms of here.

Good photo by the way & any wonder they call Australia the lucky country even with the huge fires over the summer of 2019 / 2020 we have it really good with covid (lucky )

LJ XU-1 I bought it with 15,000 miles in 1974 & sold it in 1975 with 30,000 miles

50mph in 1st, 80mph in 2nd, 105mph in 3rd. Never got it flat in 4th

My friend had an XU1 - rode like a buckboard with square wheels - no thanks.
