I was just looking at Matteo's (wonder where he's gone?) posts from earlier in the spring about fitting a WR exhaust on his TTR as I came across one myself pretty cheap. Anyway, as I am following the Mikuni thread, etc. the exhaust swap made me wonder if anyone has tried a WR carburetor on a TTR? The stock c...

I seem to spend a lot of time waiting for work to be done by tradesmen which is delaying my other projects so, being a gluton for punishment, I thought I would see what I could do with this Raid: I have the cylinder head and other bits in boxes but there are a few bonuses - kickstart, decompressor (but missin...

Ok. This is what happened. I got the TTR home. Took a short test ride. Did not have patience to warm up properly. Stalled the engine couple of times. Plug fouled and the engine refused to start. Rolled to garage. I replaced the plug. Good spark. Still wont start. Puffs and spits to carb. Removed airbox. C...

I don't want a bike that's b...

Does anyone know what material the lefthand generator/starter cover is made from, does anyone know if it can be welded where it cracks inside around the starter motor?
The bike has been cutting out in what I would call not to deep water..I have had it in much deeper water that this many times and with no probs.
