Very sad.

Just in case Martyn isn't watching, here is a copy of his post on our local forum:

The Telegraph's motorcycling correspondent Kevin Ash has died after an accident during a new bike launch in South Africa.

Kevin lost his life during the launch of a BMW motorcycle in South Africa on Tuesday.

Very sad, he was a good reporter/motorcyclist and I have read most of his recent reports in the Telegraph.

I did'nt know anything about Kevin Ash,as i live in Australia. I read the article & watched some of his reviews on Youtube. I got to say,that he was a good man & it's sad to see somelike him pass on. My thoughts go out to his family & friends.

I have just learned about Kevin Ash's death on this thread . He was a good guy and I rated his work highly .In fact his was the only bit of the Telegraph motoring page I used to read . Great shame .Embarrassing for Beemer ,especially as it seems he would have been riding their new flag ship the water cooled 1200gs.
