Hi there, I currently live in Boston but my home country is Lebanon, where i keep my TTR. I'm really glad to be part of this forum. I have many questions to ask and have a lot of info to share in return! I attached 2 pics of my bike and the kind of scenery we have back home. Best Joe HC
Whilst on my two week shut down over Christmas and the new year I had a thought. Has anyone ever converted a TTR to fuel injection? With the problems some have with jetting etc a fuel injection setup would or should cure that straight away. My thoughts turned to finding a crashed WR250R or X and using the f...
Does anyone know if such a thing exists? I'm desperately trying to to find a new needle and needle jet and I cant seem to find anywhere, I tried Yamaha dealers too but no luck. They told that not even Yamaha europe has any of this parts. What other brands could fit to the carb? Ive seen that we can use Keihin j...

Hello all, Just wondering whether anyone knows where to buy an aftermaket air box fo my ttr250. Alloy would be preferable & something with extra air flow & if possible an intercooler pipe fitted or able to fit. I saw a thread on the airbox somewhere but it's hard to find now If an...
Hey everyone, I thought it best that I introduce myself and say hi to everyone after joining the forum a few months ago.. I recently bought myself a K Reg TTR 250 open enduro which I initially intended on using to commute to work throughout the bad weather months as I didn't want to wreck the paint work an...
I wouldn't normally condone using a TTR in this manner , but .......... CLICKY Youtube link ..... I'm amazed at the front stopper's impressive power Martyn
If you go trail riding in Italy then beware. The Italian "Antis" are getting into the act. This message has recently appeared on the National TRF forum:- "dear Sirs and Madams I'm a young rider from Italy who has recently purchased a yamahattr and is an offtrack enthusiast. I live in...
Hi All I'm new to the site, i've joined a few other forums on the look out for a TT250R, not too fussed about age but must be in good working order. I've just noticed that i missed one that sold not far from me so i'm gutted. fingers crossed another one will turn up soon. Many Thanks
Hi - I'm new to the site and I'm looking for a TTR250, ideally a 2007 model or thereabouts. I'm in West Yorks. Let me know if you have a good example for sale. Cheers, Steven
I have a couple of headlight units from circa 2004 models that need to be replaced. The example below is of one where the original Yamaha glass unit was smashed by a mate roosting me in a stony lane . Because of the high cost of the Yamaha unit (#5CH-H4310-00 - currently over £88 retail) I replaced it wit...
So my tail light doesn't work at all. Doesn't start with the bike ignition, when the key is turned, brake depressed...etc, etc, it doesn't start. I thought it might be the bulb but now I do not think it is (Not browned, so not blown?) plus finding the weird bulb it takes would be to much time for it to not be t...
well my rear brake pedal pin has sheared at top the thread so no hope of bolting a quick fix in there, got about 6 or 7 cable ties lashed to it and and seems to hold, just wondering how I'd carrying the repair out as not easy access really stumped, and rear wheel bearings have gone would they make a clunking so...
I was thinking of trying to source a spare rear wheel with a view to having two different tyres available but with only requiring a rear wheel change. Theres a possibility of aquiring, free of charge, a spare wheel from a WR200 bike but would it fit? That got me thinking, what other wheels if any would fit...

Hello everybody, I am based in Twickenham and I recently picked up an '05 model (the same deal from tracksense that Lama mentions in his post) having picked up the bug after various off-road schools and guided trailriding days. This is all very new to me so I'd love to meet up and ride with folk in the...

Afternoon all, My TTR goes "clunk" when the engine's stopped. It's a 2004 model, done about 6000 miles, mostly on trails. I've had it a year, and honsetly can't remember if it's always made this noise. I only noticed the "clunk" after reading about it on here. So should I be worri...
Hello all and happy new year! I picked up a 93 open enduro as a project last weekend off evilbay. Have received a load of parts from totallyttrs this week ( thanks Brian and Trish) Got a few questions already so I am off to the tech section now! regards Ian
Thought I would drop in and introduce my bike and myself!
I have had the 06 TTR250 for a few years but mostly ridden my 02 YZF250 offroad due to not having a bike license. Now that's all sorted I have been concentrating on the TTR.
Pretty stock apart from pro taper bars, riser mounts, generic bark buster...
