The top cable is the adjuster (two adjusting nuts). Loosen this a little. It may need lubrication & why it's tight though???

Glad you found the problem.

Loosen the top adjuster on the ''pull me'' side.

Then slide the cable through until you can loosen the lower nut.

Loosen lower nut.

Tighten upper nut.

Job done.

You may also have an adjuster half way up your cable (near handlebars)

Hi Sammy - Jarrah is correct smile

The owners manual suggest that you should have 3-5mm of free play at the inner edge of the throttle grip.

There are some diagrams showing how to adjust the free play in Chapter 3 of the workshop manual 3-14 and 3-15 in my version.

If you haven't got the manual yet don't hesitate, get one! See here

Cheers

Brian

Not bad for not looking at the manual lol (easy stuff).

Good work Brian....the 3-5mm play is important or the throttle sticks & trees can jump out at you all of a sudden biggrinbiggrin
