Before I Left college I got chance to change rear tyre to one of those trelleborg army tyres on the back just in case and kept the trail wing on the front.
over the holidays not a peep of snow though ohh bugger but a knobblie on and no snow, this week has turned snowy and Icy and bugger me that tyre is great and I mean great grips and hips on ice and snow even took a pillion on and still going over black ice, sheet ice and snow and was planted.
they are skittish on Tarmac but really recommend them.
I don't rush around thinking feck it am on a trails bike just take it easy but helps with those tyres a lot, feel safer than I would on a normal road bike
I tryed to ride my TTR in the snow but the bike is just to heavy and all i did was sink and fall over lol. I also wish i could do wheelies but like i said bike is to heavy and or i just suck lol.
Bike is heavy dropped mine in snow and took me and a mate too lift he was surprised how heavy it is, only 20 30kg off his SV650 i found the ttr with this tryes and being heavy grip loads, even better 2 up, keep calling it my little donkey as all my mates bike has been in there garages for 2 weeks am still out and about.
