I am probably in danger of boring forum members as much of the work on this project will be exactly the same as my others. Most of it is just painstaking cleaning of parts etc. I have published a few of these pics in other threads so apologies if you experience deja vu! The new project TTR was first register...

I took the bike out today for a thrash seeing as the weather is nice but the engine cuts out when I'm in first gear with the bike stationary and the clutch in. Its riding ok and everything's fine when I'm out and about but as soon as I'm down in first gear and at a crossroads or nearly at a stop or whatever the bi...

Hi, Lately I've aquired this nice bike for good price. Unfortunatelly a good price usually has some price :). Most of the back frame brackets has been shaved. But making some indicators brackets won't be a hassle, about the rest.. well I will miss them. For the front indicators I have just one bracket a...
Hey guys and gals, I'm Ian a new member. I have just bought a 2003 TTR250 and already the speedo sender has crapped out( No problem, going to fit a electronic 1). But today it started making a grinding/crunching noise when taking off in 1st gear. I'm guessing it is not the clutch because taking off in 2n...
Hi, I am new to the Forum. Been trail riding for a few yeras since joining the TRF. Started with an Ex Army XR 250 Honda, great bike but lack of electric start was a pain when I stalled in deep ruts or half way up a rocky mountian, so decided to look for a dual start. Had the TTR just over 12 months now. 2002 model...

I have broken the speedo drive inside the clock. (Slewed off a steep decline into a fallen log on Sunday in the snow!). I need to open the clock to see inside and see if it can be fixed. I can't see how it comes apart. It looks as if it should prise open around the groove with a stanley knife but I don't want to fo...
Hi, I have just sold my eldest sons DR350 (he is 18) and my youngests Stomp pit bike (he is 15) with a view of getting them something collective that can both use - my eldest for green laning with me (the DR350 was too big for his age / licence restriction) and for them both to ride our local enduro / motocros...
A beautiful summer's day, and a day off work - what to do? As no one else was out to play I decided to ride a few simple trails on my own - here I am on one just off the Miltary Road in the heart of Northumberland. So what is everyone's view on riding the trails alone? Not ideal I know, but do any others do it?

Not mine - Robin Webb's 325! TTR in Star Wars set: TTR in deep soft sand - who said 325s couldn't take the strain Robin said that the 325 performed well and was a great "desert sled".
