Picked this up earlier tonite as i need somthing to keep me out the pub ! its a 1991 Yamaha TY 250 'pinky' trials bike

Needs alot of work to clean her up ,rear plastics cracked and silencers goosed both of which can be bought ,i assume it will also need a kick start return spring which as far as i can see yamaha dont make any more ,any suggestions where i could get a new one as used may be false economy

still no luck they dont supply them either ,cant find a new one on on the internet was hoping someone may have personal experience of where to get one

The spring is no longer made and is very hard to get by what i can find out ,split the cases tonight and found that the spring had been put in the wrong way so i took the shaft out turned the spring round and its working properly

If i met the guy who last split the cases id have some choice words for him !!!

Not bad for three weeks work including doing work to the ttr and waiting for parts
