It was my last bosses birthday on the 22nd, he hired the track from 10am to 3pm. He invited me along, so the TTR got to stretch her legs for the first time in a while. After high-siding on the 14th, I got onto Brian to sort me some bits, just about fitted them in time for the day. Got my new tyres fitted and the...
Well gotta thank this awesome forum again, had a leaking rear shock so pulled it out and sent it off and rebuilt the carby while I was at it. What a difference that has made as well. Moved the clip a notch, new seals and diaphragm. So easy doing all the above once I read all the stuff on here. Just great. ...

Hi all, The front brake lever of my old TTR is broken, allowing to be actioned only by 2 fingers. Adding to that, it seized the fluid return 2-3 times. Is the full mechanism easy to find ? not very expensive ? (shipped worldwide, or at least to France), or should I still try to replace master cylinder with a...
Hello everyone here. Following friends' advices, last year I bought an old TTR250. According to the frame number it should be '93. It ran quite well for 5 months or so, then it became harder and harder to start. Also I felt lack of compression once the engine gets hot. I was reading through topics here fo...

I was having a tidy up and came across a brand new black seat strap of the same design as the TTR seat straps but significantly shorter. It's 39cm long compared to the standard 55cm It is way too short for even a fully lowered OE seat so what could it be from? I know the Raid seats have seat straps and there w...
Just a word of caution to trail riders in the Devon area. There's a fallen tree on RedPost (Ipplepen) with the stump section jutting out of the hedge. Due to overgrown nature of the lanes this time of year you don't see it until it's too late!he fractured his scaphoid last week on it-- Edited by feetup0 o...
