does anyone have sidestand as i want one to cut down and try.  i have the lowering link fitted and a couple of inches of the seat foam removed.  i can just about touch the ground when sitting on the bike but when it is on the side stand am having difficulty getting on and off the thing!  It is trying to get my leg over the rear light area.

You can give yourself some extra height by mounting the TTR like mounting a horse but, instead of your left leg being in a stirrup, stand it on the LH footpeg (with the TTR on the sidestand of course!) before swinging your right leg over the bike. Works for me!

That is the only way i can get on the bike however with the lowering link the bike is nearly vertical and when i do it the suspension cpmpresses with my weight and the bike become vertical and slightly unstable. so though if i took something out of the side stand it might be better! However if i do that i do not think i can put it back so hence the request for a side stand!
