When you say yours is cosmetically challenged, is it just the frame paint or is there other damage? If just cosmetic, why not strip it out and get it shot blasted and powder coated? Less than £100 and makes all the difference in the world!
The reason I ask is that I have got a 93/4 frame that is straight but scratched up and a bit rusty in places. I was keeping it back for a project (maybe the JPS ) but if your need is greater.
It would need shot blasting and powder coating before transferring all your bits onto it though so your answer to my earlier question is highly relevant!
When I say cosmetically challenged I mean rotten, it was an ebay purchase which I thought was reasonably ok but as I've got more involved the worse it actually is, the left hand rear at the swinging arm pivot is more hole than metal then we come to the rear sub (rust) frame.
If you would like to tell how much you want for your frame and postage and an email address for paypal it would be greatly appreciated
