I was having a tidy up and came across a brand new black seat strap of the same design as the TTR seat straps but significantly shorter. It's 39cm long compared to the standard 55cm It is way too short for even a fully lowered OE seat so what could it be from? I know the Raid seats have seat straps and there w...
Just a word of caution to trail riders in the Devon area. There's a fallen tree on RedPost (Ipplepen) with the stump section jutting out of the hedge. Due to overgrown nature of the lanes this time of year you don't see it until it's too late!he fractured his scaphoid last week on it-- Edited by feetup0 o...
So I figured this would be the best place to post this thread, but I am wanting to make some modifications to my 1994 TTR250 Open Enduro (pictures to follow) and want to bounce the ideas off of people. I know there are threads that address some of these issues, but I want ideas from people that will help me...
Anyone got anything bigger they would like to swap for my ttr? I love how light and easy to ride the ttr is off road but all the guys I ride with are on 600's so i'd consider a swap for something a bit faster on the road sections . Im in Dorset. Check out my post in "show us yours" section for more pi...
Noticed today when I had the bike at tdc the marks on the cam gear didn't line up flush with the head. See pic: does this mean the cam chains stretched? Thanks dave -- Edited by Truxx on Monday 18th of August 2014 08:24:06 PM
I have been trying to put some running in miles on my latest refurb and this has been helped by the lovely weather here in SW of the UK However, things started to go pear shaped on the way home from a ride and the TTR started misfiring and cutting out at the most inconvenient places. It got me really worried...

My speed is not working again. I am just about to fit another 3 prong washer from Brian but I think I have a part missing somewhere. After months of it sleeping in the workshop the TTR has been put to good use as our mountain goat mobile water level logging mule. Not normally allowed on mine sites the powers that be couldn't resist letting the awesomeness that is the TTR special dispensation.
Hi there folks, I'm new to the forum, and looking to get a TTR250. Started riding a long (very long) time ago, and then packed it all in. Had a Tiger cub when I was a nipper, then much later went through a spell with a DT175, and later an XJ550. Thought the TTR would be a good one to get back to it all with. Great f...
